The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks efficiently and safely. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety compliance. • Coordinate container movements within the intermodal yard with supervisors and team members. • Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to operational protocols. • Handle physically demanding tasks including climbing and lifting in various weather conditions. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position. • Previous experience with heavy equipment or machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in all weather conditions. • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, with open availability. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
