Software Developer | Hybrid We're hiring for a leading European system house specializing in defense and military land systems. The Role • Design and develop software for integrating military command and control capabilities (C4I and C2 systems) into virtual simulation environments. • Work on the architecture, design, and development of Gateway software. • Replicate and configure virtual voice and data radio networks. • Coordinate the integration of third-party software and act as an interface between internal and external stakeholders. • Support the installation and commissioning of simulation software both in-house and at customer sites. • Conduct tests (including unit tests) independently to enhance system stability. What You'll Need • Successfully completed a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification. • Strong proficiency in C++ and QT for software development on Windows or Linux. • Excellent knowledge of software architecture and object-oriented design. • Experience with network programming (UDP, Multicast, VoIP, Sockets, Protobuf). • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Powershell. • Very good German language skills and good English language skills. • Willingness to travel for commissioning support.
