Data Product Engineer / Data Instrumentation Engineer

Job Description: 

• Experience in a Data Scientist or Data Analyst role with extensive knowledge of both client-side and server-side tagging/instrumentation concepts and frameworks.
• Strong ability to understand products, future roadmaps, customer needs, and business objectives.
• Hands-on experience with data privacy and privacy-preserving data collection and analysis.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams to facilitate data collection.
• Expertise in developing measurement plans, tracking essential data elements, defining KPIs, and establishing business justification.
• Strong SQL skills, including designing SQL-friendly data structures and implementing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with Notebooks, DBeaver, and SQL Workbench is a plus.
• Exposure to data quality assurance, large-volume datasets, and Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
• Familiarity with Python, Splunk, and data visualization tools such as Tableau for end-to-end data analysis, insight generation, and presentation.
• Experience building and maintaining centralized documentation repositories, including processes, user guides, runbooks, requirements, and specification documents.
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA, Quip, Numbers, and Keynote is preferred.
• Proven experience writing and maintaining technical data documentation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
