7 - 4 Mon-Friday / weekend rotation with the other electricians / expect some OT.
Rotation - 1 crew member covers the call outs so the other guys get time with their families
Position Description / Purpose
Electrician II is responsible for the maintaining, ordering, installing, tracking and optimization of
electrical equipment used in field operations. This position should be in charge of the electrical system
of a production area and should be able to provide day to day support with some assistance.
Required Education/Experience
· Minimum Highschool Diploma or equivalent
· Knowledge of applicable codes where concerned with oil & gas industry
· Minimum three years work related experience

Key Activities / Example Areas of Focus
· Be available for 24hr call
· Change electric motors, sheaves, & belts
· Calculate sheave size to achieve desired SPM
· Utilize hot stick to change line fuses and reset reclosers
· Run conduit and pull wire
· Install ESP surface equipment
· Install, trouble shoot, and repair control panels
· Splice underground 6 vac cable
· Maintain surge protective devices
· Install and maintain grounding systems
· Install POC’s
· Communicate issues to supervisor
· Keep Company vehicle serviced, clean, and stocked
EHS Requirements
Apache Corporation requires PEC Safeland Certification to be obtained prior to beginning this role - cannot be older than 6 months
ANSI Z390.1-2017 instructor led H2S training
Additionally, Apache Corporation requires the following PPE be provided by the contractor prior to commencing work:
Applicable electrical tools/hot stick/high voltage gloves
Safety glasses – ANSI approved
Steel toe safety shoes
Hard Hat
H2S monitor
SCBA (ProdOps and Drilling roles) (this will be modified for these job postings)
Flotation device/ life jacket - where applicable
Fire Extinguisher
FR Clothing
Some roles will require task specific PPE and should be provided by the contractor prior to commencing work. For example:  
Hearing protection
Chemical Handling PPE
Hot Gloves
Face Shield
Truck with a utility bed - required
Applicable electrical tools/hot stick/high voltage gloves.
