Job description: DataEngineering Lead with MS Fabric

Position Summary

The Data Engineering Lead is responsible for the end-to-end ownership,governance, delivery, support, optimization, and strategic roadmap of theorganization's Digital Engineering and Data Platforms. This role providesleadership across data integration, data warehousing, analytics, automation,reporting, AI-enabled data platforms, and enterprise application ecosystems.

The role will oversee a portfolio comprising Microsoft Fabric, AzureSynapse Analytics, Data Lake, Informatica, Azure Integration Services, PowerBI, Power Automate, Nintex, UiPath, GitHub, SecurePay, Message Exchange Portal,Blue Care Application, and associated enterprise platforms. The individual willdrive data modernization initiatives, ensure operational excellence, maintainplatform reliability, and lead teams delivering data-driven business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own enterprise data platform strategy,architecture, governance, and roadmap.
  
• Lead modernization of Azure Data Lake, Synapse,and Microsoft Fabric environments.
  
• Ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective dataengineering solutions.
  
• Define enterprise data standards, data qualityframeworks, and metadata management practices.
  
• Support advanced analytics, reporting, AI, andbusiness intelligence initiatives.
  

Data Integration & ETL Management

• Informatica
  
• Message Exchange Portal
  
• APIs and event-driven integrations
  
• Govern ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise dataflows.
  
• Ensure data availability, integrity, consistency,and performance across platforms.
  
• Lead enterprise Power BI strategy and servicedelivery.
  
• Establish BI governance and reporting standards.
  
• Partner with business stakeholders to deliveractionable insights and executive dashboards.
  
• Drive self-service analytics adoption.
  

Service Delivery & Operations

• Own service management processes aligned to ITILstandards.
  
• Manage L2/L3 support teams and vendorengagements.
  
• Ensure SLA, KPI, availability, and performancetargets are achieved.
  
• Drive incident, problem, change, and releasemanagement activities.
  
• Establish operational dashboards and executivereporting.
  

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business leaders, architects,security teams, vendors, and external partners.
  
• Translate business requirements into scalabletechnical solutions.
  
• Present platform roadmaps, risks, and performancemetrics to senior leadership.
  

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with enterprise security,privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  
• Implement data governance and access managementframeworks.
  
• Maintain audit readiness and risk mitigationcontrols.
  
• Lead and mentor Data Engineers, Data Analysts,Integration Specialists, BI Developers, and Platform Engineers.
  
• Drive capability development and technicalexcellence.
  
• Foster a culture of innovation, automation, andcontinuous improvement.
  

Required Experience

• 10+ years in Data Engineering, Analytics,Integration, or Enterprise Applications.
  
• 5+ years leading enterprise-scale data and integrationplatforms.
  
• Experience managing production support andapplication delivery teams.
  
• Strong stakeholder management experience acrossbusiness and technology teams.
  
• Experience managing multiple vendors and managedservice providers.
  

Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to interacteffectively with stakeholders, end users, andcross-functional teams.
