Documentum ECM Developer Telford - onsite Salary: 30k - 70k SC Cleared or Eligible for SC Clearance. Role Summary The Documentum ECM Developer is a hands-on engineering role responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting OpenText Documentum solutions in an AWS cloud environment.

The role focuses on building scalable ECM features, contributing to cloud-based deployments, and applying DevOps best practices to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities Development &amp; Engineering Design, develop, and maintain OpenText Documentum applications and integrations<br />Build and enhance custom components using Java and Documentum frameworks (DFC, DFS, D2, xCP)<br />Develop and consume REST APIs for ECM integrations and microservices-based solutions<br />Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and production incidents<br />Contribute to solution design with a focus on maintainability and performanceAWS &amp; Cloud Implementation Develop and deploy ECM applications on AWS-based environments<br />Work with AWS services such as compute, storage, IAM, and networking<br />Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives by updating and refactoring existing solutions<br />Follow established AWS architecture patterns and best practicesDevOps &amp; Automation Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes<br />Write and maintain deployment scripts using tools such as Terraform and Ansible (guided by architecture standards)<br />Participate in version control and branching strategies using Git<br />Support environment configuration and promote automation across development workflowsTesting, Quality &amp; Support Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability<br />Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality<br />Support testing activities and deployments across environments<br />Assist in monitoring and incident resolution using tools like DynatraceSecurity &amp; Best Practices Implement secure coding practices aligned with enterprise and AWS standards<br />Work with authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms<br />Ensure proper handling of sensitive data, encryption, and secrets management within applicationsRequired Skills AWS &amp; Cloud Hands-on experience developing applications on AWS<br />Understanding of core AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.)<br />Familiarity with cloud-native development concepts and deployment models<br />Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)ECM &amp; OpenText Technologies Experience with OpenText Documentum<br />Familiarity with:<br />Content Server<br />DFC / DFS<br />D2 and/or xCP<br />Experience developing ECM solutions or customizationsProgramming &amp; Integration Strong Java development skills<br />Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations<br />Understanding of microservices architecture (preferred)DevOps, Databases &amp; Observability Experience with Git and CI/CD tools<br />Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)<br />Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker<br />Exposure to monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or similarNice to Have Experience working in Agile delivery teams<br />Exposure to performance tuning and optimization<br />Understanding of enterprise application integration patterns If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website
