Job Title: Senior C++ Developer (Linux, Sybase, AI-Assisted Development)

Overview / Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior C++ Developer with 5 10 years of hands-on experience in C++ application development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern C++ standards, Linux/Unix development, software engineering best practices, and AI-assisted software development tools to build, maintain, and optimize high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance C++ applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Optimize application performance and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5 10 years of hands-on experience in C++ application development.
• Strong knowledge of C++11/14/17 standards and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and STL.
• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with Linux/Unix development environments.
• Knowledge of design patterns and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted software development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, or similar AI coding assistants.
• Experience with AI-assisted code generation, refactoring, debugging, and unit test creation.
• Experience with prompt engineering for software development tasks.
• Experience with AI-assisted documentation and code review.
• Ability to validate, optimize, and secure AI-generated code.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to mentor team members and share technical knowledge.
• Passion for continuous learning and adopting modern AI-assisted development practices.

Desired Skills

• Experience with CMake, Makefiles, or other build systems.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and network programming.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Google Test.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms or containerization is an added advantage.
