Job Title: Salesforce Service Cloud Architect
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote)
Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Service Cloud Architect with strong hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in Service Cloud architecture, Multi-Org to Single-Org consolidation, Salesforce data migration, and security architecture.
    The candidate should have played multiple roles across Salesforce implementations and be capable of working across architecture, configuration, development, data migration, security, integrations, and technical leadership.
    This role requires someone who can evaluate multiple Salesforce organizations, define a target-state architecture, develop a strategy to consolidate them into a single Salesforce org, and ensure successful migration of data, security models, configurations, and business processes.
    Key Responsibilities
    Salesforce Service Cloud Architecture
  • Lead the architecture and technical design of Salesforce Service Cloud solutions.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable Salesforce Service Cloud architecture.
  • Design solutions supporting customer service, case management, service operations, and related business processes.
  • Define Salesforce data, application, integration, and security architecture.
  • Establish Salesforce architecture standards, best practices, and design patterns.
  • Provide technical leadership across Salesforce development, configuration, integration, and deployment activities.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, Salesforce administrators, developers, integration teams, and data teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect. Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certification. Salesforce Data Architect certification. Salesforce Sharing & Visibility Architect certification. Salesforce Identity & Access Management Architect certification. Experience with MuleSoft, Informatica, Boomi, or other enterprise integration/ETL platforms. Experience with large-scale Salesforce transformation or consolidation programs. Required Qualifications
8+ years of Salesforce experience, with significant experience in Salesforce architecture. Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud. Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect / Technical Architect / Solution Architect. Demonstrated experience with Multi-Org to Single-Org Salesforce consolidation. Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Migration. Strong understanding of Salesforce Security and Sharing Architecture. Experience designing enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. Experience working across multiple Salesforce roles, such as:

Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture and object relationships. Experience with Salesforce configuration and customization. Strong knowledge of Apex, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and Salesforce data migration tools. Experience with enterprise integrations and middleware/ETL technologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Technical Leadership
Provide technical leadership across multiple Salesforce workstreams. Participate in architecture reviews, design sessions, technical discussions, and solution evaluations. Guide Salesforce developers and administrators on architecture and best practices. Review technical designs and provide recommendations. Support project planning, estimation, risk identification, and technical decision-making. Develop architecture documents, migration plans, technical specifications, and implementation guidelines. Integration & Technical Architecture
Design and oversee integrations between Salesforce Service Cloud and external applications. Define API and integration patterns using REST, SOAP, middleware, and ETL technologies. Analyze upstream and downstream system dependencies during org consolidation. Ensure integrations are properly redesigned or migrated as part of the single-org strategy. Partner with integration teams to develop scalable and maintainable solutions. Salesforce Security Architecture
Assess and consolidate security models across multiple Salesforce orgs. Design and implement the security model for the target Salesforce org. Work with:

  • Sharing Rules

Identify and resolve security conflicts between source organizations. Ensure appropriate user access and data visibility following org consolidation. Design secure solutions aligned with enterprise security and compliance requirements. Provide guidance on Salesforce Identity and Access Management, SSO, and related security architecture where applicable. Data Migration
Architect and execute Salesforce data migration strategies for large and complex datasets. Develop data mapping between multiple source Salesforce orgs and the target Salesforce org. Define data transformation, cleansing, deduplication, and validation strategies. Ensure preservation of data relationships and integrity during migration. Develop migration plans for standard and custom Salesforce objects. Manage dependencies between parent/child, lookup, and master-detail relationships. Perform data reconciliation and post-migration validation. Utilize tools such as Salesforce Data Loader, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, and ETL/data integration platforms. Support mock migrations, SIT, UAT, production cutover, and post-production validation. Multi-Org to Single-Org Consolidation
Lead or support Salesforce Multi-Org to Single-Org consolidation initiatives. Assess multiple Salesforce orgs and determine the appropriate target-state architecture. Analyze differences in:
  • Data models
  • Objects and relationships
  • Salesforce configurations
  • Customizations
  • Business processes
  • Integrations
  • Security and access models
Develop a comprehensive strategy for consolidating multiple Salesforce organizations into a single target org. Identify conflicts, redundancies, customizations, and dependencies across source orgs. Define migration sequencing, cutover strategy, validation approach, and post-migration support. Work with business and technical teams to standardize processes and functionality across the consolidated organization.
