Job Title: Senior Finance Manager

Tenure: 3 Months

Work Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid)

Job Brief:

The ideal candidate has strong analytical and financial analysis skills, excellent attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture perspective, and the ability to work effectively both cross-functionally and independently. They are comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels, highly organized, and genuinely passionate about turning financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Be the key FP&A partner to the Chief People Officer and EVP of Corporate Development
• Manage the People and Places financial analyst
• Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes for People & Places and Corporate Development functions, including:
• Partnering with business on strategic initiatives
• Optimizing spend portfolios, maintaining 1% forecast accuracy
• Owning insightful analysis on headcount, spend, and other key drivers and metrics based on operational performance
• Evolving these processes as needed
• Participate in the company’s long-range strategic planning as applicable
• Manage frequent ad hoc / strategic projects to support senior management and business decisions
• Opportunity to increase scope with business needs
• Lead process and systems improvement and scaling projects for your area and broader FP&A, and partner on cross-functional teams, to drive the company’s continued growth and scaling

Requirements:

• Able and willing to come into the San Francisco office as needed, once a week or more
• 7-10 years of experience in FP&A
• Strong business acumen and expertise partnering with Senior Leadership
• Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
• Advanced Excel/GSheets and PowerPoint/GSlides skills
• Anaplan and Tableau experience is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision
• Ability to challenge the status quo and bring forth new ways of thinking
• Experience in a global high tech/software/SaaS organization is a plus
