SDET (AI Automation)

Job Responsibilities:

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a deep specialization in test automation and framework development.
• Pipeline Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of GitHub Actions. You must demonstrate the ability to build and customize pipelines rather than simply consuming existing templates.
• Programming Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Python or a similar language, with a strong focus on object-oriented programming, design patterns, and framework construction.
• Infrastructure Design: Experience building automation infrastructure that is scalable, parallelizable, and fault-tolerant.
• AI/ML Integration: Demonstrated understanding of how to integrate AI/ML logic into automated systems (e.g., custom AI test oracles, automated log analysis using ML, or self-healing test scripts).

Job Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Architecture: Design, write, and own robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. Move beyond standard pipeline usage to architect advanced automation flows that serve as the backbone of our release processes.
• Framework Engineering: Contribute directly to the development of our core test frameworks. Focus on architectural improvements that drive execution stability, implement intelligent parallelization, and aggressively reduce test flakiness.
• AI-Assisted Test Infrastructure: Architect and build an internal AI-driven test infrastructure. This is not about the usage of LLM coding assistants; you will be responsible for designing systems that integrate AI into the testing lifecycle to improve diagnostic capability, test generation, or execution analysis.
• Software Development Excellence: Operate primarily as a software engineer. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to solve automation challenges, ensuring our internal tooling is as high-quality as our product code.
• Technical Ownership: Lead the technical strategy for test automation, ensuring that our infrastructure is resilient, modular, and capable of scaling with our product needs.

Education:

• Bachelor''s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Note: GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed in Dallas, TX, to be $115,000 to $120,000 and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good-faith estimate, and the amount offered may be higher or lower.
