We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join a major technology environment within a leading global financial services organisation.

This is a hands-on delivery role supporting an established programme of End User Computing, infrastructure and migration projects being delivered across multiple countries.

The successful candidate will take ownership of existing work already in active delivery, including email archiving, data migrations, cloud migration and email infrastructure. You will work closely with technical teams, SMEs and other Project Managers to coordinate delivery and ensure projects remain on track.

This would suit an experienced Infrastructure or Technical Project Manager who can quickly get up to speed within a complex programme, get into the detail and drive delivery with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day delivery of infrastructure and End User Services projects
• Take ownership of existing project workstreams already in active delivery
• Coordinate data, cloud and technology migration activities
• Support email archiving and email infrastructure initiatives
• Coordinate migrations being delivered on a country-by-country basis
• Manage project plans, milestones, RAID logs, dependencies and actions
• Identify and proactively manage risks, issues and delivery blockers
• Coordinate delivery across multiple technical teams, countries and stakeholders
• Track delivery against agreed scope, timescales and budgets
• Manage project governance and produce clear, accurate status reporting
• Facilitate project meetings, governance forums and stakeholder updates
• Coordinate implementation, migration, cutover and operational readiness activities
• Ensure delivery aligns with organisational governance, risk and change controls

Key Requirements:

• Strong hands-on Infrastructure Project Management experience
• Experience delivering complex technology projects within large enterprise organisations
• Good knowledge of End User Computing / End User Services
• Experience delivering technology, infrastructure and/or data migrations
• Good understanding of cloud technology and migration environments
• Strong planning, milestone, RAID and dependency management experience
• Ability to manage multiple technical teams and workstreams
• Strong governance, reporting and financial tracking skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ability to join an established programme, quickly understand work already in flight and take ownership of delivery
• A genuinely hands-on delivery approach

Experience delivering email infrastructure or email archiving projects would be particularly advantageous.

Previous experience within financial services or another large, highly regulated organisation would be preferred. An operational understanding of AI and AI-enabled productivity tools would also be advantageous.

Location: Sheffield candidates must be able to attend the office 3 days per week.
