The Role • Greet and assist customers and contractors, answering product-related questions and processing sales. • Handle customer inquiries regarding product selection, orders, pricing, and delivery scheduling. • Facilitate product selection for showroom customers and process special product purchases. • Maintain the appearance and integrity of the showroom, ensuring products are clean and displays are well-maintained. • Manage stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom, and assist with physical inventory. • Create accurate invoices, work orders, and sales tickets, inputting orders and pricing information into the computer system. What You'll Need • High School Diploma or GED. • 1-3 years of experience in building material knowledge and sales is preferred. • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service with effective oral and written communication skills. • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and possess strong mathematical skills. • Familiarity with building materials, applications, and the construction industry. • Ability to read and understand blueprints is a plus.
