- Expert-level experience designing, configuring, and maintaining Proofpoint as an enterprise email security service
- Deep understanding of MTA and Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway (including version 8.x)
- Experience with Linux Server administration
- Experience with VMware virtualization environments
Skills Requirements :
- Enterprise Proofpoint design, configuration, and administration
- Proofpoint firewall rules configuration and block list management
- Email quarantine and release request handling
- IronPort email security appliance experience
- Cloud-based email security migration planning and execution
- MTA and Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway expertise (including version 8.x)
- Linux Server administration
- VMware virtualization
Responsibilities :
- Lead the end-to-end migration from on-premises IronPort email security appliances to Proofpoint cloud-based email security, ensuring minimal disruption to email services
- Design, configure, and maintain Proofpoint as an enterprise email security service
- Set and manage Proofpoint firewall rules and maintain block lists
- Respond to requests to quarantine or release email in a timely and accurate manner
- Administer and support Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway (including version 8.x)
- Support and maintain Linux Server and VMware environments associated with the email security platform
