Sales Engineer

Job Title: Sales Engineer Reports to: Sales Manager Department: WECJet Hours of work: Week 1: Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm Week 2: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm & Fri 8am – 1pm Established for over 45 years and now one of the North West’s leading & multi award winning Engineering companies, WEC is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to join our busy and expanding team based in Blackburn, Lancs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated Sales Engineer to join one of the UK’s largest laser & water jet cutting operations in the fabrication and engineering sector. Responsibilities

• To quote and sell the services of Waterjet and Plasma cutting services as well as other additional engineering applications offered by the group.
• Quote existing and new customers, maintaining a high standard of service
• Use sales and engineering experience to quote and win orders from a diverse range of customers
• Maintain and grow current and new customer working relationships Knowledge, Skills, Experience Ideally candidates should have experience in a similar estimating capacity within the metals industry, preferably from a laser cutting, profiling, or water jet cutting background. Ideal candidates must have excellent organisational, numeracy and computer literacy skills and the ability to read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings to discuss solutions and be able to prepare and submit quotations in a professional manner.
