Job Description

C++ QNX Engineer
Responsibilities
  • Optimize QNX OS performance for production automotive systems (CPU, memory, storage, IPC).
  • Design and develop new software features for next-generation automotive platforms on Linux OS.
  • Enhance and integrate new features while ensuring production stability and quality.
  • Perform system-level profiling, tracing, and root-cause analysis.
  • Debug complex issues across OS, BSP, and middleware layers.
  • Collaborate with architecture, hardware, and validation teams to ensure system robustness.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive quality, safety, and performance requirements.
  • Support production releases, maintenance updates, and long-term platform stability.
  • Execute and pass relevant ITCGs.
Requirements
  • 5-12 years of experience in embedded/system-level development.
  • Proficient in C/C++ for embedded and system programming.
  • Strong knowledge of QNX and Neutrino RTOS internals.
  • Experience with embedded controllers application software functionality.
  • Knowledge of customer BSW software component development.
  • Expertise in Scheduler, Memory Management, IPC, Interrupts, and driver framework.
  • Hands-on experience with Qualcomm SoCs (preferably 8650, 8775).
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization in real-time environments.
  • Familiarity with BSPs, device drivers, and low-level debugging tools.
  • Automotive software production experience highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of GM VIP and SDV electrical architecture.
  • Experience with ITCG testing and Python scripting.
  • Strong collaboration skills across diverse teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to set and manage priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
