Role: IBM Sterling Platform Support Engineer
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid role - 3 days/week) 
Duration: 12+ Months
 
 
Job Description:
Required Skills & Capabilities
The vendor must provide resources with hands-on expertise aligned to Sterling MFT support roles:
  • IBM Sterling B2B, SFG, SSP configuration and support
  • BPML development and scripting for automation
  • Secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, Connect:Direct)
  • File encryption (PGP/GPG)
  • Linux, Unix, and Windows system support
  • Root cause analysis and incident troubleshooting
  • Partner onboarding and integration support
  • Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, BigPanda)
  • SQL and scripting knowledge for diagnostics and automation
  • Ability to implement process improvements and proactive monitoring

  • End-to-end ticket lifecycle ownership
  • Monitoring and alert response
  • File transfer issue resolution and recovery
  • Partner connectivity support
  • Batch and process management
  • Patch validation and environment support
  • Runbook execution and continuous improvement
  • 24/7 support model
