Job Summary:

Looking for an AS/400 RPG Developer with experience in IBM i (AS/400) application development and support. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining business applications using RPG and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using RPG IV/RPGLE and CL.
• Analyze business requirements and implement solutions.
• Work with DB2/400 databases and SQL queries.
• Perform coding, testing, debugging, and production support.
• Fix application issues and enhance existing programs.
• Coordinate with business users and project teams.
• Prepare technical documentation.

Required Skills

• Experience in AS/400 (IBM i) environment.
• Knowledge of RPG IV, RPGLE, CL/CLLE.
• Experience with DB2/400 and SQL.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API/Web Services integration.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Banking, Financial Services, or Retail domain experience.

Experience

• 3-8 years of AS/400 RPG development experience
