Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute thorough test plans and test cases (manual and automated) to evaluate functionality, reliability, performance, and overall product quality.

• Automation & Scripting: Write, maintain, and run automated test scripts using modern frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, TypeScript, Java, k6, MCP, and AI-assisted testing tools).

• Defect & Error Tracking: Investigate application logs, analyze HTTP requests/responses, use developer tools (Google DevTools, stack traces), and manage defect lifecycles using test management tools like Zephyr Scale and GitLab.

• Performance & Data Testing: Design realistic performance test scenarios, user journeys, and load models; analyze production data and manage test data environments across relational and NoSQL databases.

• Proactive Quality & Risk Management: Identify potential quality risks early in the development lifecycle, formulate mitigation strategies, and recommend corrective/preventative actions.

• Collaboration & Compliance: Work cross-functionally to translate business and functional requirements into robust test scenarios, draft QA policies, investigate production issues, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree: Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Experience: Proven professional experience in quality assurance, testing, inspection, or auditing.

• Testing Fundamentals: Strong foundational knowledge of manual testing principles, test case design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning), and end-to-end defect management.

• Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages with hands-on experience building test scripts using tools like Playwright, TypeScript, Java, or k6.

• Debugging & Analysis: Advanced ability to read error logs, trace issues using developer tools, and analyze database systems (Relational and NoSQL).

• Tools & Platforms: Experience with test management and version control systems (Zephyr Scale, GitLab) and specialized test data management platforms.

• Problem Solving: Excellent debugging skills with the ability to systematically break down complex processes and perform unscripted exploratory testing.

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Adaptability & Detail: High adaptability to shifting priorities, strong resilience, and meticulous attention to detail.
