Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and backend services. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, API development, microservices, databases, cloud technologies, and distributed systems.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Python

• Advanced knowledge of Python 3.x, OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns

• Strong experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI

• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices

• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB

• Strong understanding of API integration, authentication, authorization, and security

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD

• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ

• Strong understanding of scalable and distributed application architecture

• Experience with unit testing using PyTest, unittest, or equivalent frameworks

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python

• Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices

• Develop high-performance and reliable enterprise applications

• Design database schemas, queries, and data-access layers

• Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise systems

• Implement cloud-based solutions and deployment automation

• Troubleshoot application, performance, and production issues

• Develop automated unit and integration tests

• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FastAPI, Django REST Framework, or Flask

• Strong knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, and RDS

• Experience with Azure Functions, Azure App Services, or Azure Kubernetes Service

• Experience with Celery, Redis, Elasticsearch, or Airflow

• Knowledge of PySpark and data engineering is a plus

• Experience with Machine Learning / AI integration is a plus

• Familiarity with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
