Woking arrangements: Onsite Tuesday to Thursday, remote Monday and Friday

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network & Security Engineer to support enterprise network and security environments across customer sites in Lincolnshire. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong networking, Firewall, and Azure infrastructure expertise.

Key Skills Required

• 8+ years' experience supporting enterprise network and security environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco Firewalls.
• Strong networking knowledge including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, IPsec, SSL VPN, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience supporting Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and monitoring tools.
• Solid Microsoft Azure networking experience including VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, route tables, and hybrid connectivity.
• Experience troubleshooting complex network and security issues across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Ability to conduct network health checks, audits, and configuration reviews.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.

Desirable

• CCNP, PCNSE, NSE or similar certifications.
• Experience with Juniper, F5, Aruba, or other enterprise networking technologies.
• Knowledge of IDS/IPS, network segmentation, and Azure security services.
• Automation, Scripting, or Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
• ITIL experience or certification.
• Additional Information
• Own transport is essential as travel between sites across Lincolnshire will be required.
