Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer
Department: IT / Software Development
Reports To: Technical Lead / Engineering Manager

Job Summary

The Java Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using Java-based backend technologies and modern frontend frameworks. The role involves working across the full software development lifecycle and collaborating with business, QA, and other technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with frontend applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Design and work with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and application troubleshooting.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
• Work with Git and CI/CD tools for source control and deployments.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve application performance and production issues.
• Prepare technical documentation where required.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and REST APIs.
• Good experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a frontend framework such as React or Angular.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Git and software development lifecycle practices.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, or other testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
