Job description

We are seeking an experienced Smile CDR Integration Developer to build and support healthcare interoperability solutions using Smile CDR, HL7 FHIR R4, and Apache Camel. The ideal candidate will have strong programming and API integration skills, along with healthcare payer domain experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Smile CDR integrations and HL7 FHIR-based solutions.

  • Build Apache Camel routes and REST API integrations.

  • Develop data pipelines using Python/PySpark and SQL.

  • Work with Java, JavaScript, JSON, and XML.

  • Support healthcare interoperability initiatives, including CMS Interoperability, Prior Authorization, Provider Access, and Payer-to-Payer data exchange.

  • Participate in testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of software development experience.

  • Strong experience with Smile CDR, HL7 FHIR R4, and Apache Camel.

  • Proficiency in Python/PySpark, Java, JavaScript, REST APIs, and SQL.

  • Experience with healthcare data integration and interoperability standards.

  • Knowledge of ETL/data engineering and distributed integration architectures.

Preferred Skills:

  • Healthcare payer experience and CMS interoperability projects.

  • Databricks, Hadoop, and GitLab CI/CD.

  • Experience with Prior Authorization, Provider Access, or Payer-to-Payer integrations.
