Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Account Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end delivery execution across strategic client accounts. The role requires strong ownership of delivery outcomes, operational excellence, stakeholder alignment, and team leadership while ensuring consistent value realization for clients. The ideal candidate brings a strong IT execution background - having previously worked as a Developer, QA Engineer, Scrum Master, or similar delivery role - and has evolved into managing large-scale delivery engagements.


Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership

Own end-to-end delivery governance across one or multiple client accounts.

Ensure successful execution of projects aligned with scope, timelines, quality, and budget.

Drive predictable delivery through structured planning, risk management, and execution tracking.

Establish delivery metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.


Account & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary delivery interface for client stakeholders.

Build trusted relationships with engineering leaders, product owners, and business stakeholders.

Manage expectations proactively and handle escalations effectively.

Align delivery outcomes with client business objectives.


Program & Team Management

Lead cross-functional teams including Developers, QA, Scrum teams, and architects.

Enable Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement culture.

Mentor delivery leads and engineering managers.

Drive accountability, collaboration, and performance excellence.


Operational Excellence

Identify delivery risks early and implement mitigation strategies.

Improve delivery maturity through process optimization and governance frameworks.

Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery models.


Required Qualifications & Experience

15+ years of experience in IT services/product engineering environments.

Hands-on technical background as Developer / QA / Scrum Master / Technical Lead (mandatory).

Proven experience managing large delivery programs or accounts.

Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and delivery governance.

Experience managing distributed teams and multi-stakeholder environments.

Demonstrated stakeholder and escalation management skills.


Preferred Skills

Experience managing enterprise or global clients.

Exposure to Agile transformation or scaling frameworks.

Knowledge of delivery metrics, forecasting, and capacity planning.

Experience in managing P&L or account growth initiatives.
