Salary: Up to £50,000
We are looking for an experienced Privileged Access Management (PAM) Consultant to join a leading global technology and consulting organisation, supporting clients with the design, implementation, and optimisation of secure identity and access management solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for a security professional with strong PAM expertise to work on complex enterprise environments, helping organisations strengthen their security posture, reduce risk, and improve governance around privileged access.
Due to the nature of client engagements, candidates will be required to undergo a Security Clearance process and must have 5+ years UK address history at the point of application.
The Role
As a PAM Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and architecting Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, including policies, processes, controls, and supporting technologies.
- Leading the implementation, configuration, and integration of PAM platforms such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or similar solutions.
- Conducting privileged access risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing effective mitigation strategies.
- Supporting governance and compliance activities, ensuring PAM solutions align with industry standards and regulations including SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.
- Developing and enforcing PAM policies, standards, and best practices across enterprise environments.
- Working closely with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver secure identity solutions.
Essential Skills & Experience
You will ideally have:
- 2+ years experience within IT Security, specialising in Privileged Access Management.
- Strong hands-on experience with PAM technologies such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Thycotic/Delinea, or similar platforms.
- Experience designing and implementing PAM solutions within complex enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and security frameworks.
- Experience working with cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or GCP and understanding their PAM requirements.
- Strong understanding of security governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Experience with scripting or automation using technologies such as PowerShell or Python.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
