Java Developer - Ex Capital one only

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud technologies. Candidates with prior experience at Capital One or other large-scale financial services organizations are highly preferred due to their exposure to modern engineering practices, cloud-native development, and agile delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance Java applications.
Build and maintain Microservices using Spring Boot.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
Strong knowledge of:
Java 8/11/17
Spring Boot
Microservices Architecture
REST APIs
SQL and NoSQL Databases
Git
CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
Experience with AWS Cloud services.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with Capital One or large banking/financial institutions.
Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures.
Docker and Kubernetes experience.
Terraform or Infrastructure as Code experience.
Experience with distributed systems and high-volume applications.
