Job Description

Cloud Administrator Federal Government About the Opportunity
  • Join a high-performing, multidisciplinary team driving a nationally significant digital transformation within a major Federal Government department.

  • Play a key role in establishing core platform and cloud integration foundations for a major multi-year initiative, starting with an exciting Minimum Viable Product (MVP) delivery phase.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Provision, configure, and administer secure Azure cloud environments supporting core platform operations.

  • Support the administration and integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, and Power Platform ecosystems.

  • Proactively monitor platform health, availability, performance, and capacity trends using Azure monitoring tools.

  • Manage environment configurations across development, test, staging, and production environments.

  • Partner closely with DevOps and development teams to drive seamless deployments, release activities, and continuous operational improvements.

  • Support identity, access management, networking, backup, disaster recovery, and security compliance standards.

  • Maintain comprehensive operational documentation, runbooks, and support procedures to ensure continuous service restoration and stability.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this position, you will ideally bring:

  • Technical Toolkit: Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Cloud administration and Dynamics 365, alongside experience in Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Key Vault, Azure Storage, and App Services.

  • Experience: Proven track record supporting production or business-critical enterprise cloud environments.

  • Core Capabilities: Solid grasp of Azure networking, identity, and security services, alongside familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) concepts.

  • Desirable: Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications and prior consulting experience within secure Federal Government environments.

Eligibility & Clearance Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates must hold a current NV1 security clearance
