Section Engineer

Our client, a renowned player in the construction and engineering sector, is currently seeking a Section Engineer to join their team on a contractual basis for a Severn Trent Water.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising and coordinating construction activities on-site<br />Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant standards and specifications<br />Managing site engineers and providing technical guidance<br />Liaising with project stakeholders including clients, consultants, and subcontractors<br />Preparing and maintaining detailed project documentation and reports<br />Monitoring and reporting on project progress and addressing any issues that arise<br />Implementing health, safety, and environmental policies on-site<br />Conducting site inspections and ensuring quality control measures are in place Job

Requirements:

Experience in civil engineering within utility or water projects<br />Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials<br />Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills<br />Effective communication and leadership abilities<br />Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations<br />A relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification<br />Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications<br />Proficiency in use of project management tools and software
