Job Description
- HNC/HND Electrical Engineering
- BS6761 Wiring Regulations
- Experience using engineering design software
- Assist in the design and delivery of electrical and lighting engineering projects.
- Produce high-quality technical designs and supporting documentation.
- Support Project Engineers and Department Leads in delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
- Work collaboratively with clients, contractors and internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver practical engineering solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and technical support.
- Assist with Health & Safety, CDM and environmental documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards and company procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice across project delivery.
- HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline).
- Knowledge of BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience using engineering design software and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive and organised approach to managing your workload.
- Commercial awareness and a desire to deliver excellent client outcomes.
- Experience within highways, street lighting or infrastructure projects.
- Electrical scheme design and project delivery experience.
- Knowledge of DMRB, MCHW, National Highways standards and associated design guidance.
- Experience with ICP design.
- On-site construction or installation experience.
- Familiarity with programme management and resource planning software.
