Sr. SDET with Playwright/Selenium/Cypreess – REMOTE

Position Summary

Senior Automation Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in designing, developing, and implementing scalable test automation frameworks from scratch, with a strong focus on Playwright, Selenium, Java, and modern CI/CD practices. This role requires hands-on experience in automation strategy, UI/API testing, performance testing, framework architecture, and test execution within Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

·  Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks from scratch for web, API, and end-to-end testing.

·  Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Java, Cypress, and CucumberJS.

·  Lead automation initiatives and establish QA best practices, coding standards, and framework governance.

·  Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.

·  Perform comprehensive UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

·  Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

·  Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with development teams to resolve defects.

·  Implement distributed test execution solutions to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.

·  Create and maintain test plans, test cases, automation documentation, reporting, and quality metrics.

Required Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

·  5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.

·  Strong expertise in:

o Playwright

o Selenium

o Java

o Cypress

o CucumberJS

·  Proven experience building automation frameworks from the ground up.

·  Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

·  Strong experience in:

o UI Automation Testing

o API Testing

o Regression Testing

o End-to-End Testing

o Load/Performance/Stress Testing

·  Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies and modern DevOps practices.

·  Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

·  Experience with cloud-based test automation solutions, validating microservices and event-driven architectures.

·  Experience leading QA automation teams and driving automation strategy across multiple projects.

·  Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
