Oracle CX (Customer Experience) Architect

Location: Remote / Anywhere in the U.S.

Travel: Up to 2 times per month anywhere in the U.S. based on client requirements

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Experience: 14+ Years overall IT experience, with 7+ years of Oracle CX experience

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle CX Architect to lead the architecture, solution design, and implementation of Oracle Fusion CX solutions across enterprise customer-facing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across Oracle Sales, Service, CPQ, Subscription, Marketing, Commerce, and Field Service, with deep expertise in Lead-to-Cash processes and integration with Oracle ERP, SCM, and third-party applications.

The Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and client leadership to define scalable, secure, and maintainable Oracle CX solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Oracle CX solution architecture for large enterprise implementations.
  • Design solutions across Oracle Sales, Service, CPQ, Subscription, Marketing, Commerce, and Field Service.
  • Own Lead-to-Cash architecture, including Lead, Opportunity, Quote, CPQ, Order Management and downstream Financials.
  • Define integration architecture between Oracle CX, ERP, SCM, HCM and third-party applications.
  • Design and govern integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs and event-based integrations.
  • Develop enterprise architecture blueprints, solution designs, process flows and technical specifications.
  • Conduct requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis and recommend Oracle standard functionality versus customization.
  • Provide architecture leadership for customer master data, account/contact management and data governance.
  • Work with technical teams on VBCS, Application Composer, Groovy, Redwood UX and CX extensions.
  • Define data migration strategy, integration patterns, security architecture and environment strategy.
  • Lead architecture/design review sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Support testing, deployment, production support and Oracle quarterly release readiness.
  • Provide technical leadership to onsite/offshore teams and ensure adherence to architecture standards.
  • Participate in client workshops, solution presentations and architecture discussions.
  • Support pre-sales activities, proposals, estimates and solution demonstrations when required.
  • Travel up to two times per month anywhere in the U.S. based on client/project requirements.

Required Skills

  • 14+ years of overall IT/consulting experience.
  • 7+ years of hands-on Oracle CX Cloud experience.
  • Strong experience as an Oracle CX Solution/Technical Architect.
  • Strong Lead-to-Cash architecture experience is mandatory.
  • Strong experience with at least 3+ Oracle CX modules, such as:
    • Oracle Sales
    • Oracle Service
    • Oracle CPQ
    • Oracle Subscription Management
    • Oracle Marketing
    • Oracle Commerce
    • Oracle Field Service
  • Strong Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, web services and enterprise integrations.
  • Experience integrating Oracle CX with Oracle ERP/Financials, SCM and third-party applications.
  • Strong understanding of customer/account/contact data models and data governance.
  • Experience with Application Composer, Groovy, VBCS and Redwood.
  • Strong understanding of security, roles, data migration and environment management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work independently with distributed/global teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel anywhere in the U.S. up to two times per month.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle CX certifications.
  • Experience with Oracle CDM / Customer Data Management.
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics / Fusion Analytics.
  • Experience with Oracle AI capabilities, Digital Assistant or CX AI.
  • Experience in enterprise CRM transformation programs.
  • Experience working with C-level and senior business stakeholders.

Travel Requirement: This is primarily a remote role, but the consultant must be flexible to travel anywhere in the U.S. approximately two times per month when required by the client. Similar current Oracle CX Architect roles emphasize Lead-to-Cash, CPQ, OIC and cross-module architecture, with travel requirements in the 25% range
