Job Description

Position: Regional Sales Manager – Food Ingredients

Job Type: Remote

Salary: $130,000 – $180,000 Base Salary + Commission

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth within the food ingredients industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B ingredient sales, extensive industry relationships, and expertise in selling specialty ingredients to food and beverage manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with technical, marketing, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful product implementation.
  • Accelerate customer onboarding and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to support business growth.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and territory development plans.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience within the food ingredients industry.
  • Proven experience selling ingredients for food and beverage applications.
  • Strong knowledge of sweeteners, prebiotics, dietary fibers, starch-based sweeteners, and related ingredient solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ingredient applications for:
    • Protein Bars
    • Gummies
    • Bakery Products
    • Cereals
    • Snacks
    • Beverages
  • Established network of contacts within leading food and beverage manufacturers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel as required within the assigned territory
