Position: Regional Sales Manager – Food Ingredients
Job Type: Remote
Salary: $130,000 – $180,000 Base Salary + Commission
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth within the food ingredients industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B ingredient sales, extensive industry relationships, and expertise in selling specialty ingredients to food and beverage manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with technical, marketing, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful product implementation.
- Accelerate customer onboarding and strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to support business growth.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and territory development plans.
- 5+ years of successful sales experience within the food ingredients industry.
- Proven experience selling ingredients for food and beverage applications.
- Strong knowledge of sweeteners, prebiotics, dietary fibers, starch-based sweeteners, and related ingredient solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise in ingredient applications for:
- Protein Bars
- Gummies
- Bakery Products
- Cereals
- Snacks
- Beverages
- Established network of contacts within leading food and beverage manufacturers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel as required within the assigned territory
