Overview:

A Tier 1 Investment bank is seeking a Quality Engineer with strong experience in AI/LLM testing to join a greenfield, high-impact initiative focused on building an intelligent, personalised AI Companion within its mobile application. This role sits at the intersection of AI, automation, and quality engineering, with a focus on ensuring the reliability, safety, and effectiveness of AI-driven user experiences.

The Project:

You will be working on a next-generation AI-powered companion for card members, designed to support users throughout their travel journey.

Key capabilities include:

• Pre-trip: Personalised recommendations and alerts
• During trip: Real Time updates (eg weather, events, disruptions)
• Post-trip: Insights, suggestions, and follow-ups

This is a highly personalised, context-aware system, requiring a modern and thoughtful approach to testing AI behaviour rather than traditional deterministic testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement testing strategies for AI/LLM-based systems
• Develop and apply evaluation frameworks for AI outputs
• Assess and validate:
  • Accuracy and relevance of responses
  • Consistency and reliability
  • Hallucinations and edge cases
• Work with LLM-as-judge patterns and automated evaluation techniques
• Define quality standards for non-deterministic AI systems
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and data teams
• Contribute to best practices for Agentic QA and AI quality engineering

Required

Skills & experience

• Proven experience testing AI/ML or LLM-driven systems
• Strong understanding of:
  • LLM evaluation techniques
  • Behavioural/output validation of AI systems
  • Testing non-deterministic systems
• experience with AI quality frameworks and evaluation methodologies
• Ability to think beyond traditional QA (pass/fail) and focus on AI outcome quality
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
