The Role • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, orders, pricing, and delivery schedules. • Initiate outbound calls to customers to drive sales and generate new business. • Process orders, manage returns, and coordinate special product purchases. • Collaborate with outside sales teams and customers to manage project timelines. • Maintain product stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom. • Develop and nurture professional relationships with a diverse customer base. What You'll Need • High School Diploma or GED required. • 1-3 years of experience in the building material industry. • Basic knowledge of building products and their applications. • 1-3 years of inside sales experience preferred. • Proficiency in using computers, calculators, and potentially cash registers. • Strong interpersonal, customer relations, and communication skills.
