SAP BTP Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking an SAP BTP Developer in Saint Louis, MO.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI)
• Build and maintain interfaces between SAP and non-SAP applications utilizing APIs, web services, file transfers, and event-driven integrations
• Perform SAP BTP administration activities, including environment management, security configuration, monitoring, and user access governance
• Create and maintain integration flows, message mappings, transformations, and reusable integration components
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues involving interfaces, APIs, and middleware integrations
• Work closely with business analysts, SAP functional teams, developers, and external partners to gather and understand integration requirements
• Implement monitoring, logging, exception handling, and alerting processes to ensure reliable system performance
• Utilize GitHub for version control, code management, and deployment processes
• Document technical designs, integration specifications, and support procedures
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices
• Support testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of hands-on SAP BTP experience, with a strong focus on Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)
• Experience administering and supporting SAP BTP environments
• Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, XML, JSON, and related technologies
• Understanding of integration architecture, middleware concepts, and enterprise application integration
• Proficiency with GitHub and source control best practices
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and think critically when evaluating technical solutions and business requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with: SAP EDI integrations; IDocs; SAP S/4HANA; ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Experience with API Management and SAP Integration Suite components
• Experience in Agile development environments
• Knowledge of SAP security and authentication mechanisms

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
