IKEA's Digital Customer Meeting Points (DCMP) team is responsible for developing and optimising IKEA's digital shopping channels. The team delivers seamless online experiences that connect with the broader omnichannel journey, driving sales conversion and making IKEA more accessible and convenient for customers. We are a growing team in a newly created part of the business, and we bring together people with diverse backgrounds and expertise. As the e Commerce Specialist (internally titled Country Site Merchandising Specialist), you will be at the heart of our digital customer experience, ensuring the seamless execution of merchandising and product range activities across all digital channels, including Web and App. You'll be a detail oriented, performance driven specialist who:
- Ensures timely implementation of product range and merchandising plans, including setting up product launches, campaigns, and seasonal activities based on the commercial calendar.
- Creates and implements localised content for the website and app to meet local market needs, while coordinating with Global teams to ensure product information, descriptions and images are accurate and up to date.
- Analyses trends in key metrics such as conversion rates, search behaviour, and add to cart performance, to identify clear actions and drive performance.
- Regularly updates and optimises onsite search terms to improve product discoverability and relevance, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
- Builds and implements A/B tests for the Web & App, documenting setup, tracking results, and providing data driven insights for continuous improvement.
You are a commercially astute, data driven professional who thrives in dynamic environments where precision meets creativity. You bring strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of e commerce platforms and optimisation techniques for improving conversion, sales, and profitability. With knowledge of omnichannel customer journeys and data driven decision making, you excel at adapting strategies quickly in agile environments. You're a natural collaborator who builds strong relationships, co creates solutions, and inspires peers and stakeholders to achieve business goals together.
To be considered for this role you will have:- 3+ years of experience working with online commerce, sales, marketing, or equivalent, with demonstrated experience in omnichannel customer experience journeys that connect digital and physical touchpoints.
- Strong documented co creation and collaboration skills, with proven ability to work effectively within teams and with cross functional teams and stakeholders to deliver shared outcomes.
- Proven analytical skills to monitor performance metrics, interpret data patterns, and identify actionable areas for improvement that drive commercial results.
- Demonstrated ability to act with strong attention to detail and execute tasks with precision, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all digital merchandising activities.
- Proven ability to thrive and perform in complex and dynamic environments, adapting quickly to changing priorities and business needs while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong ability to contribute to driving change in a positive way, influencing and inspiring others to reach business goals through collaborative problem solving.
- Permanent, full time, 76hrs/fortnight.
