TELECOMMUNICATIONS / NETWORK TECHNICIAN III with Security Clearance

Description -  Responsible for performing basic router and switch configurations, unpacking and packing equipment, assisting with shipping, maintaining racks and cabinets, and conducting inventory of network assets and test equipment
● Collaborate with network engineers and program managers to meet project goals and deadlines.
● Maintain a lab environment in a safe and organized manner.
● Utilize Microsoft Excel to update system data. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
The Telecommunications Technician/ Network Technician III must have:
● Education: AAS or equivalent experience
● Experience: 3+ years of related experience
●Technical certifications or coursework in networking is a plus.
● Security clearance level: Ability to obtain and retain a Secret clearance
● US citizenship required Skills:
Networking Hardware, Routers, Shipping, Telecommunications Role requirements:
Perform basic router and switch configurations to ensure network functionality and integration.
Unpack, pack, and assist with the shipping of network equipment.
Maintain and organize network racks and cabinets, including moving equipment as needed.
Conduct inventory of network assets and test equipment to ensure accurate records and availability.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of lab environments for network testing and integration.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient lab operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve network equipment issues in a timely manner.
Adhere to all safety and security guidelines while handling network equipment.
