Job Description

The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a premier design-build client in the Gainesville, Georgia area. The client is seeking a seasoned Architect to strengthen its architectural program as it launches a brand-new food and beverage division. Working closely with the Design Manager, this leader will advance architectural initiatives in both office and jobsite settings, guiding work at every phase, from design and construction through long-term facilities management. This is a ground-floor chance to shape design standards, engineering design project management, and team workflows from day one.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead architectural direction on industrial and design-build projects, setting the standard for project teams.
  • Produce rendered imagery, video, and marketing collateral that help the client win new project pursuits.
  • Develop complete construction document packages, including drawings and specifications.
  • Hit every construction document milestone with thorough, on-schedule deliverables.
  • Refine and expand the drafting templates and content libraries that power the design team’s workflows.
  • Partner with preconstruction colleagues on 5D, model-based estimating efforts.
  • Visit active jobsites periodically to capture field data and project information.
  • Adapt to schedules beyond standard hours when projects demand it, including brief trips of 2–5 days.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related design discipline.
  • At least ten years of Design-Build experience focused on the industrial sector.
  • Strong command of Industrial Construction Means And Methods, especially applying technology across projects of varying scale and complexity.
  • Proven background in Preconstruction, Field Management, and broader Construction Processes.
  • Proficiency with Revit, BIM Collaborate Pro, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Lumion, and Procore, plus experience preparing CSI Specifications.
  • Registered Architect (R.A.) licensure in Georgia (preferred).
  • Leadership strengths: sound judgment and decision-making, problem solving, priority setting, a results orientation, customer focus, conflict resolution, and inventive, solutions-minded thinking.
  • Flexibility, openness to supervision and constructive feedback, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
  • Comfort in a primarily office-based role that mixes sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. The client cannot sponsor visas for this role.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Base salary of $150,000–$180,000 per year
  • 20% bonus
  • Car
  • Paid relocation
  • Partially remote work arrangement
  • Full-time, direct-hire position
