OneStream Developer / Hybrid in Metro Detroit

A global manufacturing technology company is seeking a full-time OneStream Technical Lead to join their team. Based in the United States with flexibility on location, this organization delivers advanced safety and electronics solutions to major automotive manufacturers worldwide. The role centers around the OneStream platform, supporting enterprise financial reporting, operational planning, and forecasting systems.

This is a hybrid opportunity with three days in office. This opportunity stands out because of the level of ownership and impact. The team is looking for someone to act as the internal OneStream expert-designing architecture, driving enhancements, and scaling the platform across global operations. You'll work cross-functionally with finance, IT, and operations while helping reduce reliance on external consultants. It's an ideal fit for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work but also wants to influence strategy and long-term platform evolution. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of hands-on OneStream development and administration
Experience designing application architecture, cubes, dimensions, and workflows
Strong knowledge of business rules (VB.Net), dashboards, and forms
Background in financial consolidation, forecasting, and planning processes
Experience with data integrations across ERP, data warehouse, and planning tools
Familiarity with release management, testing, and production support cycles
Strong stakeholder communication across finance, IT, and operations Desired Skills & Experience OneStream certifications (architecture, admin, or development)
Experience with Planning Factory or similar forecasting tools
Background in supply chain, manufacturing, or IBP environments
Exposure to cloud-based enterprise systems and security frameworks
