About the Role

Join our team and play a key role in leading the day to day delivery of high quality, person centred services. As a Service Coordinator, you will oversee service operations to ensure supports align with client needs, goals, and NDIS requirements, while creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for both clients and staff.

Role Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day to day operations of the day program including household accounts.
  • Act as the first point of escalation and support for site team members.
  • Lead, coach and supervise frontline staff to build capability and foster a positive team culture.
  • Manage workforce planning, rostering and resource allocation to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor service performance and ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements.
  • Ensure all mandatory reporting, including incident and compliance reporting, is completed accurately and on time.
  • Drive the ongoing development and improvement of day program activities and services.
  • Build effective relationships with clients, families and internal stakeholders to support individual goals and outcomes.
  • Ensure site properties and facilities are maintained to appropriate standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Minimum Cert IV in Disability or Individual Support, or equivalent experience in disability support.
  • Experience managing and supervising staff and client outcomes in multiple accommodation settings or day programs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS, principles of active support and human rights based approach to service delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer literacy in MS Office Suite and online systems.
  • Practical experience in achieving community inclusion.
  • Ability to transport clients in Achieve Australia vehicles (automatic gearbox) across the region. Candidates without a current QLD driver's licence are subject to a risk assessment.
