Job Title: Microsoft Power Platfrom Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite Required

Contract Length: 24 Months, with Possible Conversion

Bill Rate: $69/hr - $74/hr (OT40)

Role Overview

In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex Software Engineering initiatives involving Microsoft Power Platform solutions supporting the controls management portfolio. This role requires a hands-on technical architect who can communicate effectively with business stakeholders, IT platform teams, and fellow architects. The position will involve approximately 90% hands-on development and application support, with the remainder focused on functional activities.

Key Responsibilities

• * Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable applications. * Configure and enhance Power Platform solutions that support business controls and action plan implementation.
• Act as a solution architect for Power Platform initiatives, participating in architecture reviews and technology discussions.
• Design, build, and maintain Canvas Applications and develop automated workflows using Power Automate.
• Collaborate with business users, IT platform groups, and enterprise architects to align on standards, dependencies, and roadmap direction.
• Support business-as-usual activities, including regular platform and application upgrade cycles, troubleshooting, and implementing enhancements.
• Present solution designs and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. This must include 2-4 years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience (Canvas Apps and Power Automate) and 1-2 years of software architecture experience.

Skills: Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. The ability to serve as both a hands-on developer and a technology architect is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power Platform roadmap development and technical leadership.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
• Experience in controls management or remediation.
• Experience supporting application upgrades and production operations.
