Senior Project Manager IT Infrastructure

Role Summary:

Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading network life cycle replacement management projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Senior level PM with proven extensive network life cycle replacement management experience. Must be strong in forecasting and experience with managing multiple location lifecycle refresh initiatives.

• This position will be leading network life cycle replacement management projects from initiation and scope, through requirements gathering, planning, implementation, and close out, focusing on process, documentation, and communication.
• Using hands-on and a proactive approach to ensure that value is delivered - with full responsibility for all aspects of a project including managing milestones, identifying and tracking issues and risks, and driving the team to meet project goals.
• Partnering with other delivery groups to align ongoing efforts in areas such as network design & security, procurement, 3 rd party review, etc.
• Partner with business on establishing operations support center.
• Contributing to the team by participating in solution definition and removing roadblocks
• Surfacing challenges that require cross team coordination or leadership intervention prior to them impacting scope, cost or the timeline.
• Establishing a good cadence for communicating outside the team including conducting effective meetings for the given audience by managing the agenda, running the meeting and communicating/tracking follow-ups.
• Establishing strong relationships across IT teams.
• Helping the team in identifying development opportunities and challenging the team to actively work on improving their performance.
• Managing budgets, forecasts and vendor teams.
• Ensures project or framework specific governance is implemented.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or relevant experience
• 10+ years of managing initiatives in IT infrastructure area
• Must have experience in applying waterfall framework
• Must have strong experience in managing large, complex projects
• Training and certifications in traditional project management and/or agile methodologies is preferred
