Service Designer

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced Service Designer to join a large-scale digital transformation program focused on delivering smarter, more user-centred services.

This role sits at the intersection of human-centred design and digital delivery, ensuring solutions are built around what users actually need-not just existing processes.

You'll lead discovery, facilitate co-design, and stay embedded through delivery-helping teams deliver value early and iteratively in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end discovery activities including workshops, co-design sessions, and user research
• Translate insights into journey maps, service blueprints, and opportunity areas
• Create backlog-ready user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria
• Partner with product and delivery teams to define MVP scope and prioritisation
• Stay engaged through build and testing, iterating designs based on feedback
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence decisions using user insights
• Challenge legacy processes and help drive future-state service improvements

About You

• Proven experience in Service Design / Human-Centred Design
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to translate research into clear, actionable delivery artefacts
• Experience working in agile delivery environments
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to balance user needs with platform constraints

Nice to have:

• Experience with SaaS platforms (e.g. ServiceNow or similar)
• Exposure to digital transformation programs
