  • Partner with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to support backlog planning, refinement, and prioritization.

  • Facilitate planning activities, delivery cadences, and milestone tracking in Agile or hybrid delivery models.

  • Ensure backlogs are well maintained and aligned to delivery commitments and capacity constraints

  • Escalate potential risks, scheduling conflicts, or blockers to senior project managers in a timely manner.

  • Take on increasing ownership of smaller projects or defined workstreams as experience grows.

Required Skills / Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related support role; internship or academic project experience considered for candidates newer to the field.

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple small tasks or workstreams at once.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting updates to a small team.

  • Familiarity with project management concepts and methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) gained through coursework, certification, or on-the-job exposure.

  • Working proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; as well as PMO tools such as ADO, SmartSheet, JIRA, or MS Project.

  • Exposure to financial services, insurance, or actuarial/modeling environments

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and asking questions to close knowledge gaps.

  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in growing into a project management career within a data/modeling-focused environment.

Preferred Skills / Experience

  • Familiarity with modeling or data platforms such as Prophet, Oracle Cloud EPM, or Snowflake is a plus, but not required.

  • CAPM, PMP, or entry-level Agile certification (e.g., CSM).
