IT Business Analyst - Jersey City, NJ - Contract W2/C2C - $68-78 Per HR

As a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, this hybrid position requires analyzing business processes and gathering requirements to recommend solutions. The role involves supporting strategic objectives and operational improvements using various technology tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Analyze current business processes to identify areas for improvement or automation.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for development teams.
• Support testing, training, and deployment of new systems or enhancements.
• Facilitate communication between business users and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in tools such as spreadsheets, diagramming software, project management tools, or data visualization platforms.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Business Analyst certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
