The Role • Lead and mentor a team of claims handlers, ensuring adherence to client service level agreements and key performance indicators. • Act as a vital communication link between claims handlers and management teams to ensure alignment and smooth operations. • Oversee the documentation of recovery procedures and prepare for client service reviews to maintain high standards. • Monitor team performance, provide essential training, and address any emerging issues promptly and fairly. • Manage complex and high-profile motor recovery claims, guaranteeing quality standards and optimising client outcomes. • Support financial targets by effectively controlling the claim lifecycle and aiding in aged debt recovery efforts. What You'll Need • Proven experience in motor claims handling, particularly within pre-litigated claims, ideally in a legal, insurance, or claims management setting. • Demonstrated experience in team management and people leadership within a similar environment. • A track record of direct client engagement, including successfully hosting client meetings. • Strong leadership capabilities to motivate and guide a team towards high performance. • Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to meet deadlines. • A proactive, pragmatic approach with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. • Outstanding communication skills, enabling the building of credibility and strong stakeholder relationships. • Eligibility to work in the UK.
