Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Fusion PPM Implementation & Configuration
• Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion PPM modules.
• Conduct requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and system configuration.
• Configure project organizations, project types, project templates, expenditure types, and burden schedules.
• Design business processes supporting EPC project execution.
• Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
Project Cost Management
• Configure and support:
o Project Costing
o Project Foundation
o Project Billing
o Project Contracts
o Grants Management (if applicable)
o Resource Management
• Monitor project budgets, commitments, actual costs, and forecasts.
• Implement cost allocation and burdening methodologies.
• Support project cost controls and variance analysis.
EPC Project Accounting
• Manage project setup for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction projects.
• Support:
o Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
o Cost Codes
o Capital Projects
o Construction-in-Progress (CIP)
o Asset Capitalization
• Track direct and indirect project costs.
• Support earned value management (EVM) and project performance reporting.
• Ensure compliance with project accounting and revenue recognition policies.
Procurement & Contract Integration
• Integrate Oracle PPM with:
o Oracle Procurement Cloud
o Oracle Financials Cloud
o Oracle SCM Cloud
• Support commitment tracking from purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Ensure accurate flow of procurement transactions into project costing.
• Monitor subcontractor costs and supplier-related expenditures.
Billing & Revenue Management
• Configure contract and project billing rules.
• Support:
o Time & Materials Billing
o Fixed Price Billing
o Cost Plus Billing
• Manage revenue recognition processes.
• Support customer invoicing and project profitability analysis.
Reporting & Analytics
• Develop and maintain:
o OTBI Reports
o BI Publisher Reports
o Project Dashboards
o Management KPIs
• Provide insights into:
o Budget vs Actual
o Forecast vs Actual
o Project Margin
o Resource Utilization
o Cash Flow Projections
Testing & Support
• Prepare functional specifications.
• Execute system testing and UAT activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues.
• Conduct end-user training sessions.
• Support quarterly Oracle Cloud updates and regression testing.
