Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap for the Globalscape EFT Managed File Transfer (MFT) platform.
• Design, implement, and support highly available, scalable, and secure EFT environments, including High Availability (HA), clustering, load balancing, and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
• Lead the design, development, and support of Advanced Workflow Engine (AWE) workflows and enterprise automation solutions.
• Architect and manage secure file transfer solutions utilizing SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, SSH, and TLS/SSL protocols.
• Oversee the creation, administration, and lifecycle management of EFT user accounts, permissions, virtual folders, security policies, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates, including installation, renewal, replacement, troubleshooting, and compliance requirements.
• Administer SSH key management, including key generation, exchange, rotation, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues involving external vendors, trading partners, DMZ environments, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, NAT configurations, and network security appliances.
• Perform root cause analysis for file transfer failures, authentication issues, SSL/TLS handshake failures, certificate errors, and protocol compatibility issues.
• Utilize ServiceNow for Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Request Fulfillment, and Knowledge Management processes.
• Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews and maintain documentation, standards, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles.
• Mentor engineering and support teams and serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EFT, MFT, and AWE technologies.

Experience

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Globalscape EFT administration, engineering, and solution architecture.
• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting Advanced Workflow Engine (AWE) solutions.
• Strong expertise in EFT High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Event Rules, Workspaces, Secure Ad Hoc Transfer, and AS2 communications.
• Extensive experience with user account administration, access management, SSL/TLS certificate management, and SSH key management.
• Advanced knowledge of PKI infrastructure, RSA, ECC, AES, SHA-2, TLS cipher suites, and encryption best practices.
• Strong experience troubleshooting SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, SSH, TLS/SSL, authentication, certificate, and connectivity-related issues.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Request Management, and Knowledge Management.
• Experience integrating EFT with enterprise platforms such as Active Directory, CyberArk, Splunk, ServiceNow, SQL Server, and AWS.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, XML, and JSON.
• Experience supporting mission-critical 24x7 production environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills.

Certifications Required

• Certified File Transfer Professional (CFTP) – Mandatory.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert - Preferred
• ITIL Foundation Certification.
• Relevant MFT, cybersecurity, cloud, or infrastructure certifications are preferred.
