The Role • Maintain an effective and sustainable SOX compliance program through precise control documentation, execution, and evidence. • Oversee SOX governance using tools like AuditBoard, managing control updates, certifications, and system enhancements for efficiency and accuracy. • Drive the Annual Design Assessment (ADA) process, coordinating timelines, ensuring quality submissions, and challenging control designs. • Evaluate the SOX impact of business transformations, including system implementations, organizational changes, and acquisitions. • Ensure deficiencies are properly evaluated, root cause is analyzed, and severity is assessed according to SOX methodology. • Support control walkthroughs and PBC coordination, preparing documentation, aligning control owners, and facilitating auditor discussions. What You'll Need • Three or more years of experience in SOX 404 compliance and internal controls evaluation, covering documentation, testing, and remediation. • Prior experience within a US-owned group structure. • Strong background in financial accounting and audit, ideally with public accounting or a combination of public and industry experience. • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines within a team environment. • Experience navigating and leading in environments of transformation and change.
