Essential Skills

  • 5-10 years of experience as a GPP (Global PAYplGlobal Payment Plus) SME.
  • Strong expertise in Finastra GPP (Global PAYplGlobal Payment Plus).
  • Experience participating in LLD (Low Level Design) and ILD (Interface Level Design) workshops.
  • Expertise in system and business configuration for GPP.
  • Experience troubleshooting GPP issues using logs, trace files, Oracle queries, GUI, and database analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle databases and SQL queries.
  • Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and NFT testing phases.
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting production upgrades.
  • Ability to analyze root causes and recommend workarounds and permanent solutions.
  • Experience reviewing Technical Specifications, Functional Specifications, and Use Cases.
  • Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading customer discussions, requirement analysis, and status updates.
  • Solid knowledge of PAYplus USA and/or GFX software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives with minimal supervision.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the onsite GPP Functional SME and primary point of contact for GPP-related issues.
  • Liaise between customers, Finastra, and internal project teams.
  • Participate in LLD and ILD workshops and provide inputs on system design, interface design, and system integration.
  • Act as the configuration expert for system and business configuration activities.
  • Troubleshoot GPP testing issues using logs, trace files, Oracle queries, GUI, and database analysis.
  • Support SIT, UAT, and NFT testing through query resolution and test scope reviews.
  • Lead customer calls to gather requirements, explain issues, identify root causes, provide solutions, and communicate project status.
  • Investigate production issues, recommend workarounds, implement permanent solutions, and support production upgrades.
  • Participate in walkthroughs of Technical Specifications, Functional Specifications, and Use Cases.
  • Collaborate with implementation, engineering, and customer teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Lead technical activities and provide end-to-end ownership for assigned processes, products, and programs.
  • Support client implementations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
