The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to manage shipping containers. • Load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks. • Safely move and organize containers within the intermodal yard. • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate logistical tasks. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established safety protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is required for this position. • Prior experience operating heavy machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions. • Strong commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail. • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
